Zaria Hughes is a member of Maelstrom, who participated in a cult ritual which left her a cyberpsycho. This ritual involved staying connected to the Net while she was close to death, however this process destroyed whatever sanity she had left.
V finds Zaria in an icebox, filled with severed body parts and surrounded by dead Maelstrom cultists. After investigating the area and speaking to the final, dying cultist, Zaria awakens and tries to take V out. She is fast and stealthy, using mantis blades and optical camo to attack in close quarters.[1]
