Yoko Tsuru is a vendor working at the Kabuki Roundabout Edge Net shop located in the Kabuki sub-district of Watson.[1]
Biography[]
Yoko is a friend of T-Bug.
During the The Gift side job, she will tell V that she has been holding on to a daemon for them that should work on any third-gen cyberdeck.[2] She remarks that there is an available access point available to test it out.
When returning to her any time after The Heist, she will make remarks about T-Bugs passing and that she was found inside her apartment.[1]

YOKO TSURU
Yoko doesn't have many friends - her therapist once said it was because she has trust and attachment issues. Yoko confirmed that diagnosis by quitting therapy. It wasn't about emotions. It was about Night City and her place in it. Yoko likes her space - in this case, her store and workshop in Kabuki where she sells netrunning gear and sometimes black market items not easily found elsewhere. Yoko doesn't trust people because it's the reasonable mindset to have. That doesn't mean she doesn't care about them - her customers, for example. Maybe with a little luck and different life choices, she would be a highly-paid corpo netrunner. But she chose Kabuki. Regrets? Nah. Here, at least, she feels she has control in her little sanctuary - peddling netrunner tech, the occasional rare piece of chrome, experimental daemons and digital artifacts from forgotten corners of cyberspace. It just makes her... happy. Those who've used her services keep coming back. And the problems they come in with, the goods they seek and the stories they tell give Yoko what no corporate job would give her - the feeling of being needed.
