The W. Gibson Memorial Freeway[1] (or just W. Gibson Freeway)[2] was an important highway in the Greater Night City Area.
Overview[]
The W. Gibson Freeway carried Road 16, which looped around the Night City area, going through South Night City, Central Night City, North Oak and Westbrook. It had connections to other highways such as 828 and 928.[2][3]
Roads from and to the Night City Metropolitan Airport connected directly to the freeway. The 28th Street Underpass in South Night City could be found below an elevated portion of the freeway.[2]

- Mike Pondsmith mentioned that this freeway may have turned into the Night City Ringroad from Cyberpunk 2077,[4] though it is not present in Cyberpunk RED. Another option is the large Skyline streetway, which has a very similar layout and is present in Cyberpunk RED.
Trivia[]
- The name is a reference to Wiliam Gibson, the father of the cyberpunk genre.
