Disambig This article is about the Alvarado "Vato". For other variants, see Villefort Alvarado.

The "Vato" is a customized version of the Alvarado V4FC 580 Playboy, a vehicle manufactured by Villefort in Cyberpunk 2077.

Overview[]

This custom variant of the Playboy has been painted gold with several Valentinos decals on it. It is owned by César Diego Ruiz.[1]

Acquisition[]

The Vato is an optional reward for Beat on the Brat: The Glen.

Notes[]

  • Sometime later, providing V does not choose to keep both the car and the money, César will text message V with a picture of his newborn child, with slightly different messages based on if you kept the car or not.
    • During the game's development, it was not possible to give away the money and keep the car at the same time. Philipp Weber, senior quest designer and coordinator at CD Projekt RED, changed this by cloning some of V's lines and including them in the dialogue in order to add the new choice.[2]
  • If the player chose to allow César to keep the car, it can be found outside of the El Dorado Pawn Shop located east of the dockyard following the completion of Beat on the Brat.
  • Despite having four seats, the rear ones are inaccessible. Additionally, the rear doors cannot be opened, though the doors themselves can be detached.
  • Prior to Patch 2.0, when activated, the horn was barely audible. This was seemingly due to the sound source for the car's horn being placed too far away from the car itself, or improperly set up. Its original sound was the Mexican folk song "La Cucaracha", which could sometimes be heard in the distance coming from NPC-driven vehicles. After Patch 2.0, the horn has been fixed, though it has a standard sound instead.
