Us Cracks (アス・クラックス; Romaji: Asu Kurakkusu) is a Japanese pop/idol group in Cyberpunk 2077.[1] The group's three members go by the pseudonyms Purple Force, Red Menace, and Blue Moon. Under a contract with MSM Records, the idol group was created as a product of the entertainment industry, with the goal to feed the current trends.[2]
Us Cracks have toured through many cities across the globe such as Tokyo, Paris, Sydney, and Night City.
History[]
2070s[]
Us Cracks was formed from three American-born Japanese girls, chosen after a call from MSM MediaCorp; a company that at that time was looking for candidates with the perfect blend of charisma, talent and stage presence in order to compete against the more successful AIs making music. Us Cracks was an instant hit, and they were setting trends in the lazrpop genre in Japan.[3][4]
Due to their success, they were soon approached by Kiroshi Opticals, whom signed a sponsorship with Us Cracks to use them in their advertising campaigns; with each of the girls sporting unique and exotic optic cyberware.[3][2]
During the following years, the idol group became a phenomenon with their masterpiece of marketing, growing fast in Asia, and taking over the whole continent. The band settled next in Europe where they also became an instant sensation.[5]
2077[]
In 2077, the goal of Us Cracks was to tour America and with it came a deal with MSM Records. To promote on the tour, they chose to make a cover of Kerry Eurodyne's hit song "User Friendly" - a ballad which they saw as part of the American soul; a unique combination of rebelliousness and sentimentality. Eurodyne initially refused to comment on the situation, making people speculate that him and Us Cracks had something more planned.[5]
While in Night City, Us Cracks met Eurodyne in person with a mercenary named V. As it turned out, Kerry was not pleased with them using his song. It was then when they all found out they had been played by their label.[6]

US CRACKS
Us Cracks is a popular Japanese girl band who pack major arenas with their screaming fans – and now they've set their sights on America. The band was formed when the media conglomerate MSM put out a global call for three candidates with the perfect blend of charisma, talent and stage-presence in order to compete against the increasingly more successful AIs making music. It just happens that the three winners were young, American-born Japanese girls – what a coincidence! Us Cracks is composed of Red Menace, Blue Moon and Purple Force – not their real names, of course, but pseudonyms chosen to reflect their personalities. They are trendsetters in the lazrpop genre, and are famous for their bombastic performances and charming, kawaii interactions with fans.[4]
