Overview[]
United Express is a courier and delivery service operating all over the world.
In 2020, UE was a trusted and reliable package courier service that guaranteed delivery of "anything smaller than a breadbox" anywhere in human space within 24 to 30 hours, including groceries from the local market, contracts to customers and much more. Their fleet of rocket-red aerodynes, familiar to many customers, delivered worldwide, including to Earth's orbit.[1][2]
The company had offices in all major cities and orbital colonies, being one of the largest courier services in the world. UE carried an insurance policy that covered any costs incurred through late delivery or damaged items being transported. The company's price rates ranged from 25 to 650eb, depending on speed, distance, secrecy and special conditions the customer wanted the package to be delivered. If the service involved any purchase, the delivery fee was usually 10% of the purchased price, with a 25eb minimum charge to the recipient.[2]
By 2077, United Express was still functioning, often hiring nomads to guard and deliver their cargo.[3]
