Union Railroad is located along Interstate 9, in the eastern Badlands of Night City.
Overview[]
Sometime prior to 2077, the railroad station was abandoned. In 2077, it was taken over by the Wraiths. The Raffen had found the perfect use for the station's old antenna, install software to override the antenna's regular signal so that they could take control of drones. With some help of a netrunner that goes by pseudonym b@d, they were able to install a virus by the name of KI113R that allowed them to do so.[1][2]
To great annoyance of Dakota Smith's friend Mosquito, who was running an operation involving drones and chemical shipments, saw his shipments never make it to the city most of the time. They tagged their latest shipment with a GPS tracker to see where the drones were going down, and found out it was at Union Railroad. As a result, they contacted Dakota to open up a bounty for clearing out whomever it was meddling with their affairs.[1]
