The Tokagawa Tower was located in the Japantown district of Central Night City.

Overview[]

The Tokagawa Tower was a popular destination in Japantown. The first floor housed many small businesses, most of which were not noteworthy; lawyers, an acupuncture clinic, and several Japanese bookstores.

The middle three floors were occupied by the most notable establishment in the tower, the Japanese Cultural Heritage Museum, made possible thanks to a grant from Arasaka. The J.C.H.M. was a tour of the heritage of the Japanese people, from the ancients times until the present. Each entry cost 2eb, but visitors noted it was well worth it.

The top floor was the residence of the local yakuza boss, Hichigo Kanzaki, and his family and retainers.

Surrounding much of the tower was the Nichiban Mall.[1]

Trivia[]

  • The Tower is likely named after Tokugawa Ieyasu, one of the three "Great Unifiers" of Japan, along with his former lord Oda Nobunaga and Toyotomi Hideyoshi.
