— Galena "Gecko", Cyberpunk 2077
The "Gecko" is a nomad version of the Galena, a vehicle manufactured by Thorton in Cyberpunk 2077.
Overview[]
The "Gecko" is a variant of the Thorton Galena that has been customized by nomads to increase off-road performance for travel in the Badlands. Featuring a tuned engine, raised suspension, and many other modifications, it is a more capable version of the Galena. It has all-wheel drive in place of the base model's front-wheel drive, and CrystalDome in place of the standard glass windows.
The Gecko is also armed with a pair of fixed forward-mounted machine guns.
V's obtainable version is painted green with a red rear section and rollcage, green wheels and suspension, and has the number "23" printed on the doors.

Database Entry[]
THORTON GALENA "GECKO"
The Galena's standard model wouldn't survive a day in the desert; but, with the proper aftermarket modifications installed, it looks right at home. The nomad-altered Galena, affectionally referred to as the Gecko, comes equipped with CrystalDome technology, various Militech combat accessories and a cleverly tuned engine. Folks in the wasteland used to laugh at the sight of a Galena, but no one's laughing now.[1]
Acquisition[]
It can be acquired from the AUTOFIXER netpage for €$45,000.
Notes[]
- Prior to Patch 1.5 it cost €$21,000. And before Patch 2.0 it cost €$41,000.
- Prior to the introduction of AUTOFIXER, Dakota Smith sold the car via a text message: "V, I have a "Gecko" for sale - the nomad take on a Galena. Solid machine, but I have to warn you, it's a little bare on the inside. By that I mean no cup holder, LED screen, tush-warmer and other gimmicks. That being said, on rough terrain this thing is smoother than looks give it credit - you'll be sailing over every dune and rocky slope. So if you're strapping yourself in for a longer haul, it will practically pay for itself."
