This article is about the Colby CST40. For other variants, see Thorton Colby.

The Colby CST40 is like Frankenstein's monster - stitched together helter skelter by some skezzed-out engineer and reanimated with a drive system to give this relatively common car an exciting, new lease on life. With all-wheel drive and an engine borrowed from its twin model, the CX410 Butte, this ride is the first choice for bored office workers everywhere who are fighting through a mid-life crisis.

The Colby CST40 (or Colby C240t) is a vehicle manufactured by Thorton in Cyberpunk 2077.

Overview[]

The wagon car is very similar to the Colby C125, with some minor differences, most notably its AWD and more powerful engine sourced from a Colby Butte, and its sport type rims and wheels.[1]

The perfect example of a typical middle-of-the-road car. Its reliable performance on both city streets and interstate highways is the reason the Colby has become a favorite of nomads and urban courier services alike. The first model rolled off the assembly line in Chicago in 2045, with its reliability and simple construction paving the way to immediate and immense commercial success. By 2060 over five million units had been manufactured. Somehow, there are even more being used on the road today.[1]

Acquisition[]

Can be acquired from the AUTOFIXER netpage for €$33,000.

Notes[]

  • It is described in the game files as a GT, which means "grand tourer."
  • The vehicle can be found driven by NPCs around the city, especially around Watson and City Center.
  • While the CST40 was in the Cyberpunk 2077 game files since the beginning, it wasn't until patch 1.6 that it was added in the overworld with some small changes, including more horse power and AWD instead of FWD.
  • Patch 2.0 updated its description to differ from the C125 variant.
