The Scraper is an unfinished building located in Dogtown, in the Pacifica district of southern Night City.

The Scraper was a planned 4-star hotel complex in Pacifica, that was abandoned during its construction at the start of the Unification War.
In 2077—several years after its abandonment and Kurt Hansen's BARGHEST taking control of the district—the Scavengers were using the location as one of their hideouts for their illicit activities.
After raiding a Zetatech convoy, the Scraper Scavengers acquired a valuable Arasaka prototype optical implant in the possession of Hasan Demir.

THE SCRAPER
The Scraper is what remains of one of the last investments before the district's closure. This immense structure, located far from the skyline of City Center, was supposed to offer a relaxing, yet luxurious getaway for Night City's rich – though, not necessarily the filthy rich. According to an investor's brochure, the Scraper was designed to be a "modern, 4-star hotel complex located on the picturesque Pacific coast, offering over 250 suites with breathtaking vistas and fitted with the latest in stylish amenities." Of course, those plans clearly failed to materialize. Today, scavengers have moved in and brought their own decor with them. Stolen tech and cyberware have replaced chic coffee tables. And in place of plush loveseats, they've installed cozy cages for their long-stay "guests".
