To Our Mothers and Fathers Before Us, also known simply as The Needle,[1] is a monolith located in Dogtown, in the Pacifica district of southern Night City.
Overview[]
The Needle is a damaged obelisk found at George Washington Street, being the centerpiece of the roundabout that divides traffic around the Black Sapphire, EBM Petrochem Stadium, and Heavy Hearts. Designed by Jared Cox and finished around 2063, it was dedicated to the Presidents of the United States. The sign reads: "To Our Mothers and Fathers Before Us. Jared Cox. 2063."[2]
An underground mall is located beneath the roundabout, where the BARGHEST occasionally hang their executed.[1]
