The Beast in Me: Santo Domingo is a Side Job in Cyberpunk 2077.
Walkthrough[]
A day after finishing the race in the Badlands, Claire Russell reaches out to V to give them the starting location of the final qualifying race in Santo Domingo. She tells V to go to Brandon and Wollesen streets in Arroyo.
After arriving at the starting line, V calls Claire and she asks if they will be using their car or using her "Beast", then V sits on a nearby bench to wait for Claire and the others to arrive. This time, the competitors are teams from the Tyger Claws, The Mox, 6th Street, the Valentinos and the returning racers Jakub Antonowicz and Margot Wojciechowicz from the Aldecaldos.[N 1]
When V approaches Claire next to the vehicle, she tells V she wants to inspect the engine before they start. After speaking, Claire and V both get in the vehicle and prepare for the race.
If Claire and V win the race:
- After winning the race, V receives a payout of 3,860 eurodollars, and has secured one of the finishes needed to qualify for the final race.
- If Claire and V manage to qualify for the final race:[N 2]
- After finishing the race, Claire will ask V to pull over at the nearby overlook to talk. Claire reveals that her late husband, Dean Russell, died during last year's championship race as Peter Sampson–a corporate working for Militech–purposely slammed on his brakes while Dean and Claire were behind him, forcing Dean to brake as well and resulting in an accident where Dean died.
- She'll then tell V the truth about why she wanted to do this year's race: she wants to kill Peter off in the championship and if forced between winning and killing Peter, she wants Peter killed.
- If V agrees to help Claire:
- After V agrees to help Claire, they will attend the final race in Westbrook. A day after finishing the race, Claire will text V.
- If V agrees to help Claire:
- If V's priority is winning:[N 2]
- V says they just want to compete in the final race, and will put the race over her personal vendetta with Sampson. Claire understands V's decision, and they will attend the final race together. A day after finishing the race, Claire will text V.

- Ah, Santo Domingo! The eternal fountain of shit where the only sure thing was you'd eventually step on the toes of some hot-blooded jarhead with "6th Street" tatooed[sic✍️] on his ass. You win this race, V, you show them who's in charge around here. You got a good shot too – I don't see this Claire slowing down until she reaches the finals.

- ↑ The two 6th Streeters can be overheard talking about Dean Russell, and how he was racing to win prize money to pay back his debt.
- ↑ 2.0 2.1 The dialogue options "You sure it was murder?" and "My priority's winning." are required to unlock the good ending in the following quest. It is also required to answer with "Don't worry about it. Just remember what you promised me." when Claire texts V after the race.
- ↑ After refusing, this quest will be completed in V's journal, but the main quest, The Beast In Me, will fail.
