Walkthrough[]
After V receives a text message from Claire with the race's starting coordinates, they travel to Martin Luther King Boulevard and Skyline East in Vista del Rey, Heywood, after which they call Claire telling her that they're ready to race. During the phone call, Claire and V decide which vehicle to use. After ending the call, V sits down on a nearby bench and waits for the others to arrive.[Notes 1]
As V gets up from the bench, they are mocked by Peter Sampson, who has also come to observe the races. Claire and V's competitors consist of a crew of 6th Street gangers, Moxes, Tyger Claws, Militech goons, and Valentinos.
V walks over to Claire and talks with her. She tells V that the NCPD won't bat an eye at the races and what transpires during them, as long as they're being paid off. She also hands V a shard that V will need to navigate the route laid out for the races. After V slots in the shard, Claire and V hop aboard the vehicle and start the race.
If Claire and V finish second or third:
- Claire and V have secured one of the finishes needed to qualify for the final race.
If Claire and V win the race:
- After winning the race, V receives a payout of 3860 eurodollars, and have secured one of the finishes needed to qualify for the final race.
Having finished the race, Claire and V talk a little bit more and she offers V a ride back to her garage.

- It's time to find out what really revs Claire's engine, huh? First face of the circuit takes you through the heart of Night City. Back in my time, people who won races like this could count on free drinks for a lifetime. So, y'know... not real long. But still.

- If V accepts the ride back:
- Get in Claire's ride.
- Return to Claire's garage.
