The Armory is located in North Heywood, in the Heywood suburb of Night City.
History[]
1950s - 2020s[]
During the 1950s, the National Guard constructed this armory building on the central Californian coast. In the late 1990s, after the construction of Night City and its suburbs, the armory building was incorporated into borders of the city of Heywood, and soon after it was renovated. Just before the Fourth Corporate War, in the 2020s, the structure was rebuilt once again.[1]
2030s - 2040s[]
By the 2040s, this nine-story building was located in North Heywood and had been retrofitted to become the headquarters of 6th Street, acting as a hangout, Forward Operations Base (FOB), and business center.[1][2]
By 2045, the HQ was the base of operations for 6th Street's Davis Squad as well.[1]
Layout[]
This building is a sprawling, nine-story, retrofitted National Guard armory that 6th Street uses as their headquarters. It includes a vehicle bay, weapon lockers and maintenance areas, military-level communications and security, and one of the subbasements has a fallout shelter.
The first floor is used mainly for public relations, meetings, and customer service. The second story is dedicated to R&R, sleeping quarters for lower-ranking members, and a canteen/saloon known as The Captain's Cup, which also includes a bar and a billiard pool table.
The senior staff offices are on the top floor, and the roof has a landing pad. The rest of the floors remain a mystery.[1]
