The StreeTemps Headquarters were located in the Upper Eastside district of Night City.

Overview[]

In 2013, Eugene Hobson bought a middle sized office building in Night City which had gone out of business. He then refurbished it into a facility that could handle a large number of prospective temporal employers per day, and founded StreeTemps. After Hobson's death, his son, Michael, took over the company.[1]

The main offices of StreeTemps were a well-known agency that hired down on-their-luck cyberpunks for run-of-the-mill, nonetheless questionable, activities. StreeTemps did not require any information on what the actual service would be, just what skills were required. Ignorance thus became a pat legal defense. They were allowed to remain in the business because they were secretly a branch of the NCPD, and kept an eye out for problem areas and potential cyberpsychos.[2]

Layout[]

This structure was formerly an office building which was heavily reinforced for its new purpose as the headquarters of StreeTemps. At four stories tall, the front of the building was made up of sheets of solid armorcry, with two doors in the middle that lead into a large atrium that reached the top floor. The stairs were located on the left side, while elevators were on the opposite direction to the right. The atrium had a number of benches bolted into the floor, alongside the room's walls. Cameras were vigilant at all times, with additional guards behind the counter. This floor also included interview rooms, a conference room, a cloak room for the employees that used the back entrance, the rear stairwell, and a large unisex bathroom for employees.

The second floor was mostly made up of offices, as well as interview rooms for the professional and skilled labor jobs available. The decor was less utilitarian, with potted plants occupying odd corners, a floor carpet instead of stain-proof linoleum, and padded cloth-covered chairs and sofas. There was a receptionist and two guards stationed at the counter on the overhand of the atrium, which acted as the second floor foyer. This level also had restrooms and break rooms for employees.

The restricted third floor could only be accessed via the elevators and the locked back stairwell. The elevators opened to a small lobby guarded by two officers. The rest of the floor contained executive offices, computer rooms, security rooms, as well as most facilities for Edgerunners Inc. If any alarm was triggered, all building guards were summoned to the location, as well as nearby solos acting a retainers, and if the situation warranted it, the NCPD. This alarm, unless quickly overridden, also activated the automatic overwrite of all edgerunner files on the computers with random information and game files. The furniture in this floor was plush, with thick carpeting, synthwood fittings, indirect lightning, and plants in nearly every corner. Each of the company's directors had an office here, with additional ones for future expansions. There were two conference rooms with a small kitchen in between, two smaller interview rooms, a security office, and the computer room right next to this last one.

The fourth floor was largely unoccupied, with two former conference rooms used as storage, and three office suites in the back that had been remodeled into temporary housing for any clients or employees that badly needed them.

The rooftop housed all heating and cooling machinery, antennas, and a reinforced AV landing pad.[1]
