Spector Cheng is a Melee Weapon vendor in Japantown and a friend of Kerry Eurodyne.
Biography[]
Prior to becoming a weapons vendor in Night City, Cheng worked as a head of club security in Memphis. Somewhere between 2043 and 2044, Kerry Eurodyne had a gig scheduled in his club. He managed to miss a man with ill intentions heading backstage. By the time Cheng arrived to the scene, the assailant had been out cold. As he tells it, the man went in, put a knife to Kerry's throat but, after talking to the rock star, he instead opted for sharing a tequila with him.
Cheng is also quick to admit that, should Kerry actually have told the club boss about the security breach he had suffered, the head of security, that is to say, Cheng himself, would be out of a job. However, being a good man that he is, Kerry kept his lips sealed and remained friends with Cheng for many years to come.
