The Soviet Consulate was located in the Corporate Center district of Central Night City.
Overview[]
This building was the local consular headquarters for the Neo-Soviet Union. Services provided were the same as the EEC consulate, but all Soviet consular personnel lived in the consulate building itself. Security was a detachment of twenty Soviet troops.
In 2020, the Soviet consul-general was a stout, good nature man named Sergei Mosiusnik. He was fond of touring the local bars and restaurants with other consular employees along for fun, and two or three nervous plainclothes troops for security. Mosiusnik was something of a neighborhood card; his actions were frowned upon by the consular political officer, who was also the consular KGB representative. There was little the rep could do however, as Sergei was a blood relation of the President back in Moscow.[1]
Notes[]
- The number on the map in Night City Sourcebook mistakenly puts the Soviet Consulate over the EEC Consular Building when it should be where the Chinese Consulate is located.
