The South Night City Wastewater Treatment Plant[2] (or the Night City Municipal Sewage Treatment Plant)[1] is located in the Port district of central Night City.
The Municipal Sewage Treatment Plant of Night City was located on the southwestern coast of the South City District, and it was where most of the metropolis' sewage and waste processing went on. Around 2020, the plant was operated by corrupt city officials through a system of cronyism, and was well-known for its regular sewage backfills and toxic emergencies.[1]
2040s[]
During the 2040s, the Wastewater Treatment Plant of South Night City once became overflowed by a sudden outflow of Continental Brands industrial microbiota, something that eventually pushed out a flow of untreated waste into the city's storm drains. Residents were advised to avoid areas of standing, brackish water until the city officials could trace the flow and clean up the residue.[2]
