Sierra Sonora (English: Sonora Range or Sonora Mountains) is a mountain range located in the southeastern Badlands of Night City.

Overview[]

Sierra Sonora is a mountainous area found southeast of Night City, within the semiarid Badlands. Its northern foothills in the Eastern Wastelands can be visited in Cyberpunk 2077.^[1]

Notable landmarks in this region include an abandoned quarry and a portion of a wind farm. To the west is the reservoir of Laguna Bend.

Based on the Serpent's altitude and distance to Night City, the road might be located somewhere in Sierra Sonora.

Trivia[]

Due to its location, Sierra Sonora might be based on the real life Irish Hills to the southeast of Morro Bay.
