SKIN is a regenerative virus designed to increase the healing process. It comes in two categories, Regenerative Complex 6 and Regenerative Complex 8.
Overview[]
SKIN is a substance composed of a mixture of altered viruses and medical compounds. The substance is capable of healing the body by enhancing cell replication, clotting blood vessels, repairing bones and muscle tissue, and killing aerobic viruses.
Regenerative Complex 6 is the aerosol version of SKIN which is sprayed directly onto a wound as a foam. This causes the wound to decrease by one damage class and halves the healing time by 50%. It must remain undisturbed on the wound for 10 minutes for the SKIN to dry.
Regenerative Complex 8 is a more advanced form of SKIN used after surgeries that involve large amounts of tissue removal or for the reattachment of severed body parts. The recipient is placed in a nutrient-rich electrochemical mixture for a period of time. This also causes any wounds to decrease by two damage classes and halves the healing time by 75%. Caution should be taken when undergoing this procedure as the patient could suffer from "stress shock" without a trained Medtech to oversee them.[1]
