Ruth Dzeng is the host of the satirical TV talk show Info Flash.
Biography[]
If there's one thing to know about Ruth it's that she speaks freely. According to her commissioned autobiography, it is revealed that she stepped into the media as a crew assistant through her father's colleague who was a N54 news showrunner at the time. Her untied tongue and sense of comedy amused the higher ups, very quickly moving her from behind the camera into the spotlight. Speaking of the current events of Night City as well as the world in a way that is easily agreed with by the public suffering its effects has quickly earned her views and raised her ratings, making her one of the top celebrities of Night City. She claims that the jokes being made on air are not her own but in fact written by N54's interns, making it difficult to distinguish whether what she says is indeed something she stands for herself. It could also be the reason why the show, regardless of being openly critical of corporations as well as the running government, keeps being aired. In addition to this, her off-screen personality has been described as, while glamorous, still much softer than what her character appears to be on the show.
