The Russian Federal Ruble (Symbol: ♢) is the official currency of the Soviet Union.[1]
Overview[]
The Russian Federal Ruble, (otherwise referred to as Redbucks, Junk, and Rubbles) is the national currency of the United Soviet Sovereign Republics. Many citizens living within the republics consider it worthless and will often try to exchange it for Eurodollars or New Yen, which are both considered valid currencies. However, as there is no official exchange rate for Eurodollars, companies are not allowed to pay their employees in them, and Soviet banks are forbidden from exchanging Rubles for them, a thriving black market for currency has arisen within the republics.[2][1]
