The DB-4 Igla is a Power Double-Barrel Shotgun manufactured by Rostović in Cyberpunk 2077.

Characteristics[]

The Igla is a double-barrel shotgun that can hold two 8-gauge shells, each containing 6 ball bearing pellets. Most other Rostović shotguns were based on the Igla, mostly adjusting the weapon to better adapt to other technologies, such as the Tech variant DB-2 Satara or the Smart variant DB-4 Palica. A modernized, sawed-off variant of the weapon exists in the form of the DB-2 Testera.

The weapon cannot be equipped with a Scope or Muzzle attachment.

Fun fact: the Igla was conceived at the beginning of the 21st century as a hunting weapon. Specifically, it was engineered to hunt ducks (medium-sized waterfowl, somewhat similar to seagulls, now considered extinct). The Igla may have fared well against the ducks of Serbia's swamplands, but in 2077's Night City, this shotgun is considered an antique that not even the city's poor and desperate are willing to resort to. Many complain that it produces more noise than damage.[1]
