Talsorian Games worked with Mark Thompson, one of their The Witcher TTRPG freelance writers and an advocate for disability representation in gaming to create the Rocklin Augmentics Cyberchair line, ready for use in any Cyberpunk RED session. Notes[]

  • Cyberpunk RED Alert: Books and Chairs is an article written by R. Talsorian Games about the Cyberpunk RED Cyberchairs: New Options in Mobility DLC.
  • During development of Cyberpunk RED, R. Talsorian decided to approach "real-life Cyberpunks" to honor inspirational people, who provide a "shining example of how to make the world a better place" and also "rock real world prosthetic limbs", by creating characters with them, featured in the core rulebook's short fiction.[1] Efforts to represent disability in TTRPGs positively and create supplements for playing disabled characters continued in a collaboration with writer and designer Mark Thompson. The purpose was to design a cyberpunk version of existing wheelchairs and other mobility aids. The official artwork for the free DLC supplement features a character based on Thompson's likeness: Nix Phosphate, a Medtech with "hEDS (hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome) and resulting conditions such as osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, chronic pain, and chronic fatigue syndrome", which is shown seated in their Rocklin Augmentics Spider Cyberchair. Surprised by the image upon its release, Thompson said: "Essentially, they're like me!"[2]
