The offices of REO Meatwagon were already well established in the Night City area by the 2010s. Occupying three annexed and partially renovated buildings, these offices were similar to those of Trauma Team (their rival company) in that they housed the entire operation within one location. Although REO had an extensive clientele of their own, they were infamous for attempting to show up to a Trauma Team call before them to steal the client. This action was known as "meat jumping" and despite being illegal it was extremely difficult to prove in court.[1][2]
Over the years, the increasing numbers of incidents between TT and REO begun an escalation in violence. By 2020, due to the increased threat to their office building, REO started to hire extra solos to protect its grounds in case of direct action by Trauma Team, or a gang attack due to the high number gang members hanging out in the neighborhood.[1]

Due to the shifting of border districts after the Fourth Corporate War, by 2045, REO's offices were now found in the Upper Marina district, very close to the Combat Zones to the south. With a fleet of armored ambulances, their questionable business model of "meat jumping" was still practised, charging Trauma Team's clients a high amount for medical treatment should they survive.[2]
