This article is about the Type-66 "Hoon". For other variants, see Quadra Type-66.The "Hoon" is a unique version of the Type-66, a vehicle manufactured by Quadra in Cyberpunk 2077.
Overview[]
The Type-66 Hoon has an exceptionally high top speed, acceleration, and maneuverability befitting a racing car, but it suffers from low traction at the rear wheels, and can easily cause the car to spin out of control during a turn. However, if the latter is mastered, the driver will be able drift during sharp turns to compensate.
The Hoon is equipped with two machine guns that are both located in the front bumper, requiring the driver to turn the car towards its target in order to hit it. The machine guns are capable of destroying civilian vehicles within seconds. Small targets are a little harder to hit, but landing even a few hits can prove devastating. They have a limited ammo capacity of around 50 rounds per gun before needing to be reloaded.
The Hoon's CrystalDome allows it to withstand more damage than a non-combat vehicle and fully protects the driver from small arms fire, but not from larger caliber weapons or explosives.

- This vehicle and its associated quest are an homage to Ken Block, a rally driver and YouTube star, who passed away on January 2, 2023.
- The vehicle uses his signature number 43.
- The name "Hoon" is a reference to the Hoonigan Racing Division, a motor racing team founded by Ken, as well as the act of hooning.
- The vehicle's livery resembles that of Ken's 1965 Ford Mustang "Hoonicorn" RTR, a car specially built for Gymkhana.
- A sticker by the racing number reads "K.B. 67-23", referencing his initials and his years of birth and death.
