Planetran Inc.[1] is a corporation in the Cyberpunk series.
Overview[]
The Maglev Network was a project from the United States government to connect the West Coast with the East. Its construction was supervised by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and was mostly built by nomad families. Construction began in 1998 and was finished in 2008. Ownership of the network was transferred to Planetran after the US government sold them the new infrastructure. Planetran was tasked with usage and maintenance of the network.[1][2][3] They built Light Rail Lev Trains for this operation.
In the 2020s, most of the network was abandoned during the years following the Fourth Corporate War.[1]
