Overview[]
Pinewood Bazaar was an underground shopping center illuminated by the daylight that went through the glass domes located in the pine forest above. It featured many upscale boutiques that catered to the tastes of urban professionals, and among them were BodyWorks bodysculpters; a pair of art galleries and showrooms, one featuring modern Korean and Vietnamese works, and the other reproductions of the classics; bookstores; clothing shops; jewelry shops; and the Merrillians supermarket.
The facilities here included a six screen theater, and the Manhattan's bar. The bazaar also featured two fine restaurants, the Thai House and Little Italy, as well as several fast food shops. By 2020, construction was recently completed on HoloPlex, a braindance theater. The underground walkway exited into the mall as well as onto the street, where there were both a dataterm and a screamsheet box. It also connected with the surrounding apartment blocks in the Gardens, and the local underground CitiPark.[1]
