The Petrochem Fine Arts Museum was located in the West Hill district of Night City.
Overview[]
Completed in 2020, generous corporate sponsorship from Petrochem allowed Night City to build this fine arts museum to complement the downtown City Museum. Many valuable works of art were put on display within its walls. The museum was built alongside the NCU Fine Arts Campus to the south, and both worked together in educating the students from Night City University.
Built in the style of an Italian Renaissance square, the entire museum was open to a central courtyard which could be accessed only through a gatehouse. The four main buildings were organized into Ancient Art, Classical, Contemporary, and Sculpture. The smaller building north of the entrance gatehouse contained the administrative offices and functionary rooms for special events and guests.
Petrochem supplied security personnel to staff the gatehouse and maintain security within the museum. Besides thieves, security had to protect the patrons and artwork from gang violence and vandalism.[1]
