The Parisian Hotel used to be a building located in Night City.
History[]
The Parisian was a hotel built in Night City that was shut down at some point prior to the Time of the Red.
In 2045, after a long time of neglect, the ruined building was dressed up to resemble its original aspect in order to film a picture called The Parisian Hostess, a historical film set in the early 2000s when the city's population and megacorporations begun to turn against the local mafias ruining Night City. Much of the story was to take place in the Parisian, which in the story was a theme hotel and front business owned by the Yakuza, where its employees and guests all dressed up in late 1800s costumes. Parts of the filming were also done in the Highcourt Plaza Hotel.[1]
Notes[]
- The Tales of the RED art was originally indented for the Highcourt Plaza Hotel, but a miscommunication over its depiction led the image to be used for the Parisian Hotel instead.[2]

(To be fair, Melissa wasn’t wrong - the original intent was for it to be the Highcourt, I believe, but there was a miscommunication with the artist and we had to explain why everyone is wearing period costuming for a movie set in Night City.)"
