The Orbital Air Offices were located in the Corporate Plaza of Night City.

Overview[]

This tower was the regional office of Orbital Air in Night City. Trying to keep up with the corporation's cutting edge image, the Orbital Air tower was a sight to behold. It was composed of four linked lobes, all surfaced in gleaming, mirrored glass. The OA logo glowed in letters of shifting, neon colors from the top of each lobe's outward facing wall. There were AV-4 pads and heliports on top of each lobe, and the usual subterranean parking lot and loading facility. This last one was rather small, as there was little bulk transport to or from the building, other than office, computer and cafeteria supplies. There were both external glass elevators and regular internal ones, and all stairwells were internal as well.

Public facilities in the OA tower included an aerospace technology and history museum, a restaurant with an aerospace theme, and a ticketing agency. Employee facilities included a recreational center, a medical center, a cafeteria, and rooming facilities for OA aircraft crews who spent time in the city between flights. Access to the non-public areas of the building was fairly tightly controlled, but staff security was only noticeably severe around the tower's R&D department and computer rooms.

Most of Orbital Air's hands-on tech work and all of their aircrafts were located at the OA hangars and buildings near the metropolitan airport, as such, those were a more likely infiltration target when compared to the office building.[1]

Notes[]

  • In CyberGeneration (Non-Canon), this building is bought and occupied by United Aerospace Airlines.[2]
