The Old Ironworks Building is a cargo container community located in the Industrial Zone of Heywood, a suburb of Night City.
Overview[]
At some point during the Time of the Red, a small community nestled around this abandoned ironworks factory in the Heywood Industrial Zone.[1] The landlords turned the interior of the factory into small apartments while they stacked cargo container housing on the rooftop at the same time.[2]
By the 2040, the Ironworks Building residents lived very close to the Zhirafa Office Park, and many of them were techies who supplied Zhirafa with parts and contract labor. Relations with both communities culminated with Zhirafa building a corporate conapt complex for their employees inspired by the colorful container village.[3]
