Nichiban Mall is a location featured in the pen and paper RPG Cyberpunk 2020.

Overview[]

The Nichiban Mall was a long building that housed many stores within. One third of the mall was above ground, where as the rest was underground. The mall was built with the inspiration underground Japanese shopping malls of Tokyo, Osaka, etc. The inside looks of modern Japan. The clean, spare architecture featured Japanese accents and with girls in crisp, pressed uniforms stood as greeters at almost every entrance. The shops were either popular food chains from Japan, or small household convenience shops catering to an exclusively Japanese public. All signs and directions inside were shown in Japanese, and it was recommended gaijin would utilize Bakumatsu Chipmasters Dialect Chips, with the language handy.[1]

Nichiban Mall is situated in Night City's Japantown sector of downtown.
