New Harbor (also known as the New Harbor Area) was a district of Central Night City, located to the northeast. It was considered part of the Nightlife District.
Overview[]
More than a district, New Harbor was a pair of leviathan structures separated by a small canal. The McCartney Stadium, home of the Super Bowl winning Night City Rangers, was a favorite stomping ground of all sorts of violent people. On the other hand, the multi-level shopping plaza and mini-arcology known as the New Harbor Mallplex, finally inaugurated in 2011, was a favorite stomping ground of violent people who managed to suppress it well. NCTC bus connections to other parts of Central Night City were available through lines 22 and 23.
This district was popular with sports fans and shoppers alike, though it was also notorious for the gang presence during sporting events.[1][2]
After the Fourth Corporate War, New Harbor would eventually be incorporated into the new Upper Marina.[2]
