Nakagawa Foundation is an asset management company based in Night City.

History[]

After the Night City Holocaust of 2023, Shinobu Nakagawa stepped up to become a deal maker with various local Japanese corporations in Night City, organizing what would be known as the Night City Co-Prosperity Sphere. Nakagawa arranged an exodus of the residents of the ruined Japantown to what would become the Kabuki district of the Watson Development. At some point during those events, Shinobu founded the Nakagawa Foundation, an asset management company.

In 2042, Nakagawa died of suspicious causes, igniting a fierce inheritance battle over his possessions. After a ferocious fight, his adoptive son Hayato Nakagawa managed to come out victorious, becoming the new leader of the Tyger Claws and inheriting the Nakagawa Foundation. He left the company to his trusted wife Ryoko Fujiwara. Ryoko took her role of guardian of the Foundation seriously, and dole out money carefully. Hayato was not convinced on some of the decisions his wife had done, but he respected her wishes on how to maintain the financial stability of the Foundation.

By 2045, Ryoko wanted Wakako Okada to quit her job at Kiroshi and join her working at the Nakagawa Foundation full-time as her right hand, but so far Wakako had refused.[1]
