Morro Canal is a large body of water located in the Night City area.
Overview[]
Originally a part of the broader San Morro Bay in southern Night City, after the Fourth Corporate War, the metropolis would be once again dredged and filled, changing the layout, and making San Morro Bay less broad but longer. By the 2040s, the eastern portion of the bay had already been turned into the Morro Canal — constructed by the Thelasnomads — with at least two bridges spanning over it; the Pacifica Bridge and San Morro Bridge. The corporations made use of this infrastructure to establish the Heywood Docks.[1]
By the 2070s, the canal was already narrower but longer, with an excavated portion connecting with the bay to the north, thus rending central Night City as an island.[2]
