Mitch Anderson is a member of the Aldecaldos nomad clan, and a veteran of the Unification War. He's good friends with Scorpion and Panam.

Biography

Mitch and his friend Scorpion served with other Aldecaldos as panzerboys for the Free States during the Unification War. He and Scorpion faced many hardships during the war, including straining combat and were forcibly given drug cocktails that could cause cyberpsychosis in order to keep their synapses strong to control their tanks. They both developed severe PTSD as a result. Mitch and Scorpion eventually recovered and returned with the Aldecaldos, helping them with their smuggling operations. He became good friends with Panam Palmer and currently is one of the most respected and loyal members of the Bright nomad family.

When Panam asked for his help to recover her truck, Mitch couldn't go as Saul Bright, the Aldecaldo group leader, had said so. Instead, Mitch gave her his old rifle, the Overwatch.

When V and Panam attacked the Kang Tao transporting Anders Hellman with a EMP; Mitch, Scorpion and a few Aldecaldos saw it from afar and decided to go to the crashing site expecting to help any injured and scarp anything useful. Unbeknownst to them, the transport was armed with droids and soldiers. Panam tried to warn them but to no avail as the PEM had unabled the radios. The Aldecaldos were wiped out, with just a few survivors who were promptly gunned down. By the time V and Panam reached them, only Mitch was still alive, but had been taken hostage shortly thereafter. He was rescued by his friends, though, and stayed with Panam's car while the other two went after the Kang Tao members.

Mitch returned to the Aldecaldo camp and explained what had occurred to Saul, who took much of the family and alongside Mitch went to help Panam and her friend. Once Hellman had been captured by V, Mitch and Saul went to talk with them. In the ensuing argument between her and Saul, Mitch sticks up for her, also stating that Saul cared about her wellbeing.

Mitch and the rest of Panam's friends helped her steal a Militech Basilisk to help defend the clan.

If V chooses to ally with Panam to get into Mikoshi:

Mitch helped the rest of the Aldecaldos plan for their assault on Arasaka Tower, flying a drone over a construction site which would serve as their entry point into the tower. When V, Panam, and Saul entered the site, Mitch elected to stay behind and pilot the basilisk, in order to help the rest of the Aldecaldos outside against Militech forces. Panam protested, fearing that the mental overload of piloting the basilisk solo would kill him, but eventually relented. Following the assault, Mitch survived, which Panam attributed to his synapses being toughened due to his experience of piloting panzers during the Unification War. Mitch will ultimately survive the battle, albeit suffering heavy injuries, and join V and Panam when they cross the border.

Mitch is a member of the Bright family, a group of nomads in the Aldecaldos nation. During the Unification War, along with a number of other Aldecaldos, Mitch fought on the side of the Free States with the panzerboys - a division of elite combat AVs and armored vehicles. After coming back from the front, Mitch helped the Aldecaldos with their smuggling operation - a much better fit for him than fighting on the battlefield. He's good friends with Panam and is one of the most respected members of the family - loyal to his friends, uncompromising with everyone else.

Notes
