The Militech Armored Assault Group Training & Live Fire Range[1] (or simply the Militech Proving Grounds)[2] was a Militech-owned training facility located on the southern area of Heywood.
Overview[]
These proving grounds were a 200-acre simulation range for testing AVs and ground assault vehicles under fire conditions. There was a small "town" built in the center of the range, which was used to practice urban assault tactics.[1][3] These grounds were right next to the IPSC Night City Range.[2]
In August 3rd of 2022, during the Fourth Corporate War, Arasaka sent an armored blitzkrieg to the proving grounds for the first and last time. The assault ended in disaster after the tanks ran into a field test for a new anti-tank missile system.
By July of 2023, Militech had already withdrawn from their corporate offices in downtown Night City to their more secure proving grounds in Heywood.[4]
