The Cerberus MK-II[1] is a maintenance robot manufactured by Militech in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty.
Overview[]
The Cerberus is a large, hexapod machine constructed by Militech and designed for maintenance in hostile environments. Used since at least since the 2010s, the Cerberus was considered one of the most advanced robots at the time, serving only in Militech facilities for R&T, such as Cynosure Site C or at installations located on the Moon. For these reasons, the Cerberus model was not put on sale nor its license ever given away, as Militech preferred to keep it as secretive as possible.
The robot's capacities were so great that it easily withstood dangers from electromagnetism or radiation, being able to maintain and operate the R&D facilities' cores with ease. A number of Cerberus were equipped with a mostly unbreakable armor and subsystems that gave AIs the opportunity to work with these models in tandem. These characteristics made the Cerberus shine over other models in the same field.[2]
Despite its size, the Cerberus is deceptively fast, being able to easily run down an agile, cybernetically enhanced human in seconds. Although it is unarmed, it possesses a sharp terminal jack and rotating claws, which can utilize as a drill if the need arises. Additionally, its heavy armor plating essentially renders it invulnerable to conventional weaponry and high explosives. V was not able to hack the Cerberus, though is unknown if the robot possesses any native ICE or cyber-defense programs, as the only active Cerberus encountered was being controlled by a rogue AI.
Once Project Cynosure was abandoned, so too were the Cerberus mechs on site. As of 2077, no other known instances or recent models of the Cerberus line have been utilized.

CERBERUS
The maintenance robot "Cerberus" produced by Militech is one of the most advanced units of its kind. For a long time it remained in the prototype stage - Militech was very reluctant to publicize information about it, nor did it grant any external licenses or sell any models. The robot served only in Militech's research and technology facilities. Some models were equipped with practically indestructible armor and subsystems that allowed AI to work in tandem with the machine - in this respect, "Cerberus" was a technological marvel. These special versions of the robot were able to operate in the most extreme conditions, disregarding the dangers of radiation or electromagnetic discharge. Thanks to this, they were able to operate and maintain the cores at Militech's technological facilities, including those on the Moon.[2]
