Microtech Center was located in the Corporate Plaza of Night City.

Overview[]

Microtech Center served as the Night City office for Microtech International and was the fourth tallest structure in the city. By the early 2010s, the building was a relatively recent addition to the Plaza.

The tower was ninety four stories tall, with typical architecture, surfaced in black glass and white synthetic marble. The Microtech logo was prominently displayed in large, backlit, red letters on the two widest exterior walls of the top several floors. There was a heliport and AV-4 pad on the rooftop, and a restricted subterranean parking garage and loading dock.

The lower ten floors of the building were open to the public. There were showrooms and demo areas for Microtech products, a cafeteria, a regular restaurant, a history of computing museum, a small emergency medical center, a boutique and a gift shop. These businesses were all owned and operated by Microtech, and a high-tech theme ran throughout. Facilities closed to the public included a cafeteria, a gymnasium, a surgery-capable trauma center, and a recreation center.

Access to the parking area, loading dock, and all the floors above the tenth were tightly controlled. Keyed express elevators ran from the vehicle areas to the eleventh floor and above, with no intermediary stops. The rooftop and parking areas were continuously monitored. Company security patrolled all areas 24/7.[1]

The Microtech Center was vastly damaged during the Night City Holocaust, when one of the collapsing wings of the Arasaka Towers in the front fell down onto the neighboring building.[2]
