Matt Liaw is a Cyberpsycho in Cyberpunk 2077.
Biography[]
Liaw is a former corpo who worked for Militech and later became a merc working for Mercenary Solutions Inc.[1]
During his time at Militech, he was deployed during the Second Central American War, where he stepped onto a mine in Panama.[2]
After being laid off, he also lost his health insurancy policy PTSD SHIELD. Later, he would also be evicted by the Bank of Night City from his apartment on 12 Milagro Terrace after repeatedly not meeting payments.
Without eddies and without a roof over his head and still having obsolete cyberware installed, he started the early stages of cyberpsychosis. In a desperate attempt he reached out to a friend by the name of Dan for medication. What happened afterwards is unclear.
Eventually, he went full cyberpsychosis and was assaulting NCPD forces on an unfinished highway bridge in Northside, close to the All Foods Factory. Regina Jones would employ a mercenary to put an end to it.
Abilities[]
Charge Jump
Cybermodified leg joints and reinforced, advanced muscle kinetics allow the enemy to traverse large distances with quick, high jumps. You could say it's almost superhuman, if we knew what was even human anymore.
Combat Stim
The enemy is equipped with a combat stim injector that increases their Health and leads to temporary insensitivity to pain. Also makes it easier to act tough.
Sandevistan
Sandevistan is one of the most popular reflex boosters available to purchase legally. This classic implant allows the enemy to move with lightning speed, avoiding your incoming bullets and closing in on you surprisingly quickly to engage in melee combat. When someone uses Sandevistan, it usually means they're done playing around.
