Kyushu is a region of Japan in the Cyberpunk series.
Overview[]
The Kyushu mainland is the third largest island of Japan's five main islands, and also includes the islands of Tsushima and Okinawa. Depending on the location Kyushu could appear as a rural countryside, a topical paradise, or a corporate run metropolis. The corporate city of Fukuoka is the largest city in this region and is the corporations gateway into the rest of East Asia. As the economic center of the Kyushu region, Fukuoka is also a good opportunity for people looking to climb the ranks of the corporate ladder. As Tokyo, Fukuoka is a clash of the modern age of technology with traditional cultural locations and temples.[1]
Arasaka has a large port in Fukuoka and the city uses the services of the security poloce force of the corporation.
