Killing In The Name is a side job in Cyberpunk 2077.
Walkthrough[]
At one point after finishing Transmission, you'll be sent a message to check your personal computer in your apartment regarding the Bartmoss Collective. Head to your apartment and check out Nancy's post on the Bartmoss website, then give her a call. To be able to call Nancy, one must have previously completed the quests Second Conflict and A Like Supreme in order to progress further.
After calling Nancy on the holo, you will be directed towards the source of a signal coming from an apartment building on X Street in Rancho Coronado, Santo Domingo. The router can be found on a on a wall next to the fire escape. After hacking the device, you will receive a message from an unknown sender, directing you to another location.
The second location can be found in the Jackson Plains region of the southern Badlands. A router can be found atop a trailer during an Assault in Progress. Hacking this router will send you another message from the same unknown sender with another new location.
The third location can be found in the Biotechnica Flats, again in the southern Badlands. A top one of the large Biotechnica installations, one can find another router after climbing four sets of ladders. After hacking this router, you will receive another message with a location.
The last location can be found at the West Wind Estate in Pacifica. A router can be found next to a Fortune Teller Machine, which seems to be the original source of the signal. The fortune teller machine can be interacted with for €$ 1 each time. At this point, you can pick one of three options:
If V decides to keep the Fortune Teller active:
- The fortune teller will remain active, and will keep misleading people on the net by spreading rumors and citations. (Johnny likes this.)
If V decided to hack the Fortune Teller machine:
- You can choose one of two options:
- Disable the fortune teller machine, which will also disable the website. (Johnny dislikes this.)
- Hack the fortune teller machine using 15 Intelligence, to make it produce even more nonsense. (Johnny loves this.)
After any of the these options, you are required to call Nancy again and update her with your findings. You can tell her that you found out nothing new or that you did find something and that it was basically a prank from a netrunner. Either option will cause the job to complete.
