Walkthrough[]
Beep-beep, motherfucker!
— Divergent Delamain, Human Nature
After recovering in their apartment from the aftermath of Konpeki Plaza heist, V receives a message that their car—the Archer Hella EC-D i360—was returned to the Megabuilding H10's parking lot.[Notes 1]
Upon entering the car, it is immediately rammed by a divergent cab from the Delamain Corporation, wrecking V's car.[Notes 2] This incident causes Johnny Silverhand to appear before V, and they have an exchange of words.[Notes 3]
Upon exiting the car, V receives a message from the Delamain Corporation to visit their headquarters in Vista del Rey.
Some time after the incident, V receives another text message from Delamain, this time to let them know that their car has been repaired.[Notes 4]
Journal Entry[]
- When a person dies, the world keeps chugging along without skipping a beat. Eventually, all traces of that person fade into nothing. Long story short, that's why your wheels were towed. Want my opinion? The best way to convince the world you're alive and kicking is to get your wheels back. Hell, maybe it's not the most ambitious goal, but for a minor-league merc like you, at least it's a start.
Objectives[]
- Fetch your vehicle from the parking garage.
- Talk to Johnny Silverhand.
- Get out of the damaged car.
- Read the message from Delamain.
- Keep busy while you wait for the car to be repaired.
Notes[]
- ↑ Reading the message from Megabuilding H10's Administration is an optional objective of Playing for Time.
- ↑ The divergent cab is encountered again later in Epistrophy: Wellsprings.
- ↑ If doing this stage of the quest before completing Playing for Time, Johnny will be more hostile.
- ↑ The vehicle will be repaired after completing Playing for Time and 6 in-game hours. Skipping time trying to speed up this process does not work.
Trivia[]
- ↑ The job is named after the Michael Jackson song "Human Nature" from the 1982 album "Thriller."
