Heavy Hearts is a club located in Dogtown, in the Pacifica district of southern Night City.
Overview[]
Stylized as a pyramid, Heavy Hearts is an Egyptian-themed nightclub reserved for the elite of Dogtown.[1] Local residents visit the club to party and negotiate, making Heavy Hearts a notorious business center and neutral ground in the district. The main entrance has two Anubis statues.[2]
Although the club was finished prior to the Unification War, investors pulled out their money from any ongoing projects, leaving Heavy Hearts to the locals.[3]

Trivia[]
- The name "Heavy Hearts" is a reference to the Ancient Egyptian belief that the souls of the dead had their hearts weighed before the feather of Ma'at in the afterlife; those whose hearts were heavier than the feather were seen to be impure, and as such had their hearts devoured by the goddess Ammit.
- As such the name of the club is also an indirect reference to the "impure" nature of Dogtown's denizens.
