Headhopper is a Smart Weapon Mod in Cyberpunk 2077.
Overview[]
Allows you to lock-on to 1-2 additional enemies, increases lock-on speed by 20-30%, and increases Headshot Damage Multiplier by 10-20%.
Can be upgraded to higher rarities using two identical modifications.
Acquisition[]
- Can rarely be purchased from any Weapon Vendor at level 40 or higher.
- Can be found at the NetWatch outpost at the Solar Arrays in Jackson Plains at level 40 or higher.
Tier 4 dropped by 1R-0NC-LAD after completing its hidden quest.

Bugs[]
- When stacking Headhopper, the bonus to lock-on speed is inconsistent between weapons. (Version: 2.2, PC) [verification needed]
On the following weapons, stacking appears to remove the lock-on speed bonus, reverting to the weapon's default lock-on speed:
