Biography[]

On one hand, Hasan is a clever and convincing man capable of bold moves. On the other, he fails to measure how is audacity may drive him to dangerous and even perilous situations.

He has dedicated his life to Zetatech and feels he is not retributed enough for his sacrifices.

When V meets Hasan during the Prototype in the scraper gig, he reveals he is a runaway Zetatech engineer who ended up using a prototype eye implant on himself in order to escape and be able to sell it afterwards. Johnny underlines the irony of the situation in comparison to V's situation with the Relic. The prototype is of immense value since it may eventually outsell even the famous Kiroshi Optics implants. After being released by V, Hasan pleads for their mercy.

If V send Hasan to Mr. Hands:

Hasan has his optical implant properly removed. He sets up a shop and lives peacefully afterwards.

If V send Hasan back to Zetatech:

Hasan can be seen being escorted out of Dogtown by Zetatech soldiers and is never to be met again.

If V lets Hasan escape on his own:

Hasan finds a buyer for his implant. He is played by the ripperdoc who takes outs the implant with no consideration to Hasan's health and abandons him on the pavement with an uncurable empty eye-socket. Hasan eventually joins a squatters camp at the street level of a Kress Street building and bitterly rejects any more interaction with V.

Hasan Demir

HASAN DEMIR

A Zetatech engineer who thought he had caught his big break after landing a corporate position, though in reality it turned out to be Zetatech who had caught him by the balls. His knack for problem-solving made him a competent engineer and an even better grifter. His intelligence, diluted by clumsiness, means he usually has more luck than sense, but by some miracle he always lands on his feet.
