Hababas was a bar located in the University District of Central Night City.
Overview[]
Hababas once was a respectable biker bar, but then became the preferred hangout of the Voodoo Boys gang. They held sway over the establishment with threats of random violence and a twisted sort of celebrity. This was also where much of their drug dealing was done as well, and they were known to give better prices to any middle American university student who made it through the jeering and harassment to the bar, though it was advised to never take a date here.
The front plate window, perpetually broken, ended up with a permanent plywood support sheet attached to it. Inside, the furniture was thick and hard to break, and the two hefty bouncers discouraged armed conflicts inside the bar. Students who fancied themselves tough, or were looking for a rough time, frequented this establishment.[1]
