Walkthrough[]

V meets Mr. Hands' netrunner Baird near the entrance of the academy. Baird briefs V on his cover-up story and their main objective: reaching Fiona Vargas' office to steal all the tax-related data in their computer after pretending to be a recruiter for a San Diego sports team. V may ask for more details about their cover-up story: the netrunner declines to elaborate since V's fake identity is only supposed to get them into the facility and they shouldn't speak about themselves once inside.

If V tells the barman they work for a San Diego sports team:

While chatting with the barman upon entering the Academy, V can tell him they work for a San Diego sports team. Another man then turns to V and starts asking inquisitive questions about specific people from the staff of their supposed club. Without any good answer from V, a suspicious guard is called to take V for another security check. After the check fails, every Academy member turns hostile to V.

If V doesn't talk to the barman:

V can tell the Barman they don't want to chat. One of the kids on exhibition will crack the glass screen in front of him, and this will cause the bartender to leave. Nobody will be watching the nearby door marked Personnel only, and they can use it to sneak into the staff only areas.

If V wants to sneak into Fiona Vargas' office:

V can sneak into the underground facility by going directly to their right after exiting the elevator to the Exhibition Hall. A guard is monitoring an access to a technical back office where the Academy's netrunner works. There is a computer V can use to disconnect the surveillance system. A vent hole in the wall provides access to a technical shaft from which V can drop in a lab in the underground facility and meet Dr. Vargas. Double jump is required to go back in this tunnel through the ceiling.

Reason: Addition of conditionals

Fiona's office is located one floor below the main floor, entering the office seems to cause the door to lock behind you. When you enter the office, you will see Tommie Walker trying to find something in the drawers and spend some time talking to him. When you try to steal the data from Fiona's terminal, it will fail and Fiona will walk in. After some talking, Fiona will make you an offer to leak some data of low importance. You can ask about Tommie's chances of getting signed, and accept Fiona's offer to leak the data and ensure that Tommie gets signed. Regardless of which option you choose, the rewards are the same and Mr Hands is satisfied. Note that the elevator is disabled after the quest, nor can you go back to the exhibition hall after taking the elevator from Fiona's office.

She will prompt V to leave, while they can decide to kill her right there. V can choose to kill Fiona Vargas after they decided what to do about her offer. If V kills her, Johnny will appear and express satisfaction about it, and V can grab Fiona's elevator key, which can shortcut to the ground floor.

Once the quest is completed, V can find Tommie Walker helping his dad David Walker at the EBM Petrochem Stadium. If V shut down the facility and let Tommie's father know, he'll resent them for shutting down their only chance at getting out of Dogtown.

Can you believe some people avoid paying their taxes? Shocking, I know. Someone needs to put a stop to it. Who is guilty of such heinous crimes, you might ask? Sports scouts who fly in from all across the globe to the center run by Fiona Vargas. They sign contracts with promising athletes, wire sizeable transfers and dodge taxes while they're at it. Our client isn't thrilled.

You'll be acquiring any data linked to Fiona's clients and their contracts. Getting in won't be easy, which is why you'll have the help of my netrunner near the site. Best of luck, V.
